The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have fined 2015 Africa Cup of Nations host Equatorial Guinea one hundred thousand US dollars after Thursday incident.

Home fans were angry and threw missiles on the pitch as well as destroyed public properties following a 3-0 defeat in the hands of Ghana in the second semifinal game of the AFCON 2015 competition on Thursday.

The game was delayed for over 30 minutes as match officials waited for the situation to return to normal before the tie was allowed to continue with just three minutes added time played.

CAF Disciplinary Panel rose from a meeting on Friday 6 February, 2015 in Bata, and imposed on the Equatorial Guinean Federation a fine of US$100,000 (One Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) for aggressive behaviour and being repeat offenders
